Default Smog in California

I have a b18b motor with new CP pistons and eagle rods. CP pistons are rated at 9:1 c/r. Assuming that I got the the swap in my Ek BAR certified, will the engine pass a smog test? What area will the new pistons effect if any?

I agree. If, and that is if any changes would be noticed, it would be Nox.

Raising comp raises cc temp which raises Nox. But your not going extreme so it should be OK.

Are Cali ECU's very different from other ECU's in the US? You guys think using an ECU from any obd2a b18b will be ok for CA somg?
