Default built motor and smog-able!

is it possible to build up a b18b w/ strong internals for boost and still be able to pass smog as long as the motor stays N/A? I want to build a strong motor that can handle up to 1bar of boost (or more), but emission is a b*tch here in CA. I dont want to swap motor every 2yrs for smog check. so is it possible?? yea? ???

to be more clear on this subject, would a b18b block with built internals (pistons (std) , rods, blockguard) pass the smog emission test in CA? any inputs would be much appreiciated.

as long as you have it N/A with the appropriate leaned out tuning sure, I wouldn't see why it wouldn't

its not like forged internals fart inside the chambers to create more emissions than the stock pieces.

I have a built motor JE srp pistons, eagles rods, itr valves and a greddy turbo kit on my 99 si running the blue box still and passed smog. Just turn up the boost after smog.
