should i strait pipe my h22?

Default should i strait pipe my h22?

will i lose power with less back pressure?
or will i be ok?
the space between my exhaust collector from the h22 is about 4 inches away from the apexi cat back there is no room for a cat do you think i should strait pipe it?

don't do it. get a 2.5" cat, and shorten your exhaust piping down in the mid section.

if your a treehugger and worry about getting caught then I suggest you dont do it, if you want to get maximum power out of the swap then do it.

http://www.inlinefour.com is selling Carsound cats for $100, 2.5in, and 2.25in...

We have a missing ozone layer, let's not make it any bigger...

Thats what I did. I bought a Carsound cat, and shorten my n1 midpipe, to make room for it.

I just don't buy this concept from people. You're talking about at the most like 2 hp......and not even that with a good high flow cat.

Right now I'm running the stock header, no cat and a 20" cherry bomb in its place, 2.25" piping straight back w/a 5zigen fireball muffler. And it's loud as fawk. I'm actually looking into buying a new exhaust and a carsound cat.
