Should I go b20 or b18c

Should I go b20 or b18c
I just sold my other car so i have plenty of money for a swap. Someone's offering me a complete jdm b20 (146hp) for $1300. everything including axles, ecu, and blocks are all there. i really want a jdm b18c and motorsport techniques and modacar are offering FULL swap (incl labor) for around $3500.
should I take the b20? what should i do with the remaining money if i go with b20?
OR
should i just go with jdm b18c?

Get the B20, then buy a B16 head, maybe you can still get cams or something... I'm in process of building the bottom end of the B20 vtec (havent picked out a head yet)... And from everyone i have talked to, they said they wished they could have done the B20 build.

B18C.
IMO there are more upgrade parts for that motor itself. Also, if you're looking for true reliability, you're going to have to have the B20 fully overhauled which will take the $1300 a little higher. B18C being a newer motor, you won't have to rebuild.

b20/vtec if you can IMO. the motors feel totally different from each other . i suggest you try driving a car with each motor in it. either way have fun with the project.
