Default Should i do it?

I have a chance to get a B18c1 with 70,000 miles on it, ready to be swapped in. The car it was in i can get for $1200 and i can get the motor for another $1000. It needs a transmission. I dont think there is anything wrong with the engine other than a lifter may slightly be messed up? Should i go ahead and pay the extra $1000 for the engine too, or just get the car and find a new engine?

i'd take it. a b18c long block for a g? take it...as long as its complete (no missing IM, vtec solenoid, dizzy etc) and rebuild it. new pistons, rings, waterpump, rods, maybe even cams n' drivetrain along w/ valves if you got the cheese. the rebuild will cost more than a G, but shiet...you'd have a b18c that rips, and would be a hell of a lot safer/more reliable than a stock b18c
