ok so im looking into getting an ek hatch that has a f20b to a h22 tranny but the shifter cable is snapped. what size do i need to get he said he tried a prelude and it wasn't the right one. any help is appreciated!

 

Then make the guy get the right cable before you buy it.

 

he is selling it as is or else i would have him do it im not to worried about getting one just idk what size to get

 

You sure he even has the right cable? I thought H/F series shifter cables were the same.

 

so did i from what i found. i dont know to much about hondas ive been more of a euro car guy but i got bit by the bug and im kinda wanting one

 

They should be the same. Hop on eBay and buy a set for like $100. It will be a bitch to replace I bet though depending on how the cables are routed into the car.

 

All the cables are different depending on what year accord/prelude you get the cables from even the shifter assembly. I had my shifter cables missing a couple of wires and it would not shift so i got shifter cables from an accord and they where to short. I have a 92 prelude shifter assembly with its own cables the metal part on the rod bushings is where it gets short or long.
