Default Research on a b20/vtec going N.A.

What do you guys think?

LS/VTEC? heard numurous remarks of "blown" motors IF not build properly.Good daily driven??

b20/vtec: Is this a good set-up running N.A? Trying to get in high 12 sec. daily driver?

BEGINNING on my "New Set-up"! Need sugg.'s

Been on H-T.com for a while, NOW inquireing for some "engine-tech" knowledge! I just KNOW how to fix reg. mat. on my car!

Stuff me w/ some opinions?

b20/vtec and lsvtec are the same exact process nothing is different other than the cylinder bore so go with b20 if you have the money.

What is the best decsion for you guys going N.A.? I know most of ya'll are going turbo, but I dont want to keep up with the matinec.

Alright if going N/A. Your b20 should have some eagle rods and a forged piston with compression of your choice(11-11.5:1 is always good and safe on 93 octane)
you have a gsr head right? just purchase some R cams and tune them and your good to go. You will have a very powerful and safe street engine. It's always a good choice to use the vtec water pump...and the b20 already has the same oil pump as a b16, but your gsr pump will be a little better. Also maybe you will want to swap teh gsr block girdle and replace bearings with brand new ones for a piece of mind.
