Removing Driveside axle

Removing Driveside axle
Any ideas on how to remove the driveside axle on a 99 civic with b series wap...I just can't seem to seperate it from the Intermediate shaft at all..Tried the search feature no help..I just cant' seem to get it apart

yeah tried most of the suggestions..I have tried smacking at the axle hub on the driveside and also trying to seperate axle to the int shaft with a screwdriver

from my experience, you have to remove the intermediate shaft fromt the block. once you got it out, have your friend hold it and you hamnmer out the axle.
