Default quick question regarding a b7 head w/b8 block

I already searched but I have one last question. From the information I found, it looks like the b7 and b8 blocks are identicle. So couldn't I just use the b7 timing belt and head studs?
I'm swapping a d15b8 into my civic for my brother (he's buying my car) and I wanted to swap heads from the b8 to the b7 to get him back to stock. Thanks.
