well the time has come to take my hatchy to its first drag strip this weekend

now i have tried diff techniques, and im just wondering what works best for some of the guys here...

also any other tips for the long trip their?

well I launched at 7000+ rpm on juice on my SOHC.

But I do use 20x8x14 slicks also.

1.875 60 foot
13.55 @ 100 mph on a stock block Z6 with IHE/ZEX

honestly.. I run lenso 22x8x13...
I just rev it up hit the limiter at 6500... (chatter box) and then just drop it... and off I go..

chatter box? I thought that it was called a "stutter" box? Oh well.......I use the full throttle launch and shift on my Zdyne SECU. I usually launch at 2500.......tho. Kinda hard to control if I luach any high than that.
