problem w/ GSR linkage in EG
The steady rod (the top one that doesn't move) is actually touching the top of the tunnel. The shift rod is fine, no interference. They came together as a unit, so I know I've got the right parts.
Might the problem be that I'm using the "block" (piece that holds the end of the steady rod to top of the tunnel) from the Civic instead of the Integra? Seems like if I could move it down about 1/2" from the top of the tunnel, it would be fine.

You're using a D series rod with a B series shift linkage?
I'd recommend you use both B series rods in order to shift properly. Because they are slightly different.
HTH.

Yes, it appears to me that the hole in the "block" that holds the rear end of the linkage is too high.
You can't really put the steady rod in upside down because it holds the shifter itself in place. I am sure that the shift rod is in correct, it lines up just fine.
I did double check to be sure I didn't grab my D series rod, but I'm definitely using both B series pieces. The D series steady rod is shorter and has a much different way of mouting to the traanny.
Thanks for your input. Maybe the steady rod is bent?

Re: problem w/ GSR linkage in EG (94CivicSi)
My GSR shift linkage bolted perfectly up to the GSR motor and perfectly to the Eg body
Really don't see how this can be installed wrong. The 2 parts that connect to the tranny / motor can only go on one way. The rear part goes up into the interior of the car and is held in place by 2 bolts.

Hmm -
Same for me too - B-series shift linkage and stabalizer rods fit perfect into my EG. Is everything okay with that D-shaped bracket and bushing that holds the rear of that stabalizer rod to the chassies?
I agree with the other guys, maybe its bent a little bit and just needs to be straightened or bent down (using a vice or somethig)-
If the engine is mounted properly, the tranny should align both the stabalizer and the shift linkage perfectly to the mount points near the stick - I have no idea what might be causing your problems....
Can you post a picture so we can see?
Cheers

Re: (Redsun)
You guys were dead on. BENT! I just threw one end of it in a vice and straightened it out though. Fits and works beautifully now.
Thanks again guys!!!
