Pos LS tranny....
Whats up yall,I have a 93 vx hatch,with a 97 Ls motor and tranny and its been griding 3rd for some time now,Because i got the car that way......I was racing a b16 eg coupe last night and i was right with him until i went to hit 4th and out of nowwhere i heard this grind noise and my motor bounced off the rev limmiter like 3 times....It didnt feel like i missed gear because i always put it in that exact way and it always goes in.I thought for sure my tranny was donefor so i was shittin bricks but i put it in 4th and it went in easy like normal,Same with 5th.Come to find out i now have no reverse,So my question is should i rebuild that ls tranny or buy another tranny,problem is i have no money so is there at least a remedy out there i can use so my reverse will somewhat work...?Thanks

And trannies are not the easiest thing to rebuild. If you don't know how to do it, don't try.
