is there any way to have a ls tranny work better with a lsvtec or gsr vtec motor????whats the disadvantages for this?????

 

umm Ls tranny is a waste of money ..unless its free

what would be a way to shorten the gearing on it if there is any way say like using a b16 1rst 2nd and 3rd with a ls 5th???? or any type of combo avail ????

 

Why not just get a B16 tranny and put ls/gsr 5th in it?

 

You would need to change the final drive. To a shorter one.

 

I like my LS tranny. Long gears own me, 80 @ 3500 is lovely.

Ls are nice on the highways...at 80 i m about 4,200 with the b16 tranny. I m don't wanna to see the motor work that hard so, i drive 65 on the highway. I see grandma pass me left and right
