Porting a B16/B18 inlet manifold to fit a P72 head
I'm looking to put a P72(B18C4 the one withe the dual runners here in the UK) head onto my B20 but I want to retain the B16 manifold, I know Skunk2 do a B16 style inlet for the P72 head but I don't want to use that and I don't/can't use the dual runner intake manifold in a CRX . Has anybody done this and is it possible and relatively easy to do as I was just planning on popping a P72 inlet mani gasket onto my B16 IM and then just port matching it and also match up the coolant ways and re-drilling the right holes.
Any help would be great.
Cheers
John

why you cant use a p72 intake manifold in a crx? they fit just fine
and the skunk2 intake manifold is base off of the itr intake manifold
if you have skunk2 intake manifold that fits a p72 head just use it and call it a day

Its in an EF RHD CRX. From what I've read its a very tight squeeze in LHD car and I suspect it will be worse in a RHD one but I'm not sure. I don't have a skunk2 one nor do I really want to get one as I want to retain the FITV as it can cause problems with starting here in the winter.
