Please help with IACV problem!
Here is a short breakdown of everything done to the car:
93 DX Civic Hatchback
OBD2 '99 GSR Motor (2.0L)
OBD2 '99 GSR wiring harness
OBD1 P72 GSR ECU
(Already wired the Vtec and the Knock sensor)
Am I suppose to repin the wires for the IACV on the ECU connectors?
Problem-I have tested this IACV off the car to make sure it worked, so I know it's functional. When I start the car I have to keep giving it gas until it warms up or it will just die, all I get is a code 14 two seconds after start up. The connectors are hooked up in the right sensors also. Any ideas?
Thanks

Well that is a good guess but I'm using a OBD-1 GSR ECU and the IACV pin is in A9. Any guess on what I need to do as far as repinning the IACV on my ECU?
Thanks for the help

either that or your iac isnt working, like you dont have the coolant lines ran to your throttle body or FITV
or you could have the plug for the iac switched with the one that looks just like it. i cant remember what it is
hope this helps

Re: (crappyDC4)
You do not need to do the IACV 'fix'. The picture posted is for 6th gen Civic's that originally used a 3-wire IACV and need to be converted over to the more common 2-wire variety.
5th gen Civic's used a 2-wire IACV. GS-R's used a 2-wire IACV. OBD2 GS-R's also used a 2-piece engine harness much like the 5th gen Civic's, right?
Since you're getting the code immediately upon start up, that's a hard fault as in, something is either shorted or just not hooked up. Perhaps the IACV wire from the shock tower harnesses aren't hooked up correctly. But the wire at the ECU should be sitting in the correct spot for this swap.
