Are you saying everyone in your town has b18's and your b16 keeps up with them? Dont pay attention to people, do you like the way your car drives? Then drive it and enjoy it, if you want more performance, go up to a b18 or build your b16, boost it, and enjoy it. Youve got tons of options on things to do with it.

 

I have a b16 in an eg hatch and love it. I have ctr pistons and cams and it pulls really well up high. Dont listen to them.
