Default parts missing?

I am new to this forum but have built my share of tuners. I am in the middle of a baby type r build. I have a gsr block with a ported and polished, 3 angle valve job, b16 head. I bought the block off ebay and didn't have all the parts with it. I have purchased most of the parts but not sure what goes in the hole just to the right of the oil filter. I messed up another block bu putting a freeze plug in it and broke the block. Does anybody have an answer as to what goes in that hole. I am in Iraq right now and am trying to get the rest of the parts I need for my build home so when I get back I can finish it all up.

I don't think it is a oil pressure sensor I think that goes on the other side of the oil filter. The hole I am refering to is about the size of a half dollar in diamiter. I know something has to go there but not sure what. The hole leads down into the oil pan so something really does have to go there just don't know what.

That hole is where the stock oil catch can is supposed to be. There should also be a fitting right above it for the upper hose.

Once again thanks for the help, and appreciate the support for us over here in Iraq. Here is a quick list of what I have done right now for my build. I currently have a ls/vtec in the car, well almost in the car. It has type r pistons on factory ls rods and crank. Ported and polished b16 head, with a 3 angle valve job, jun dual valve springs, titanium retainers, ported manifold and throttle body, with STR cam gears, a JUN 4 to 1 header with JIC titanium exhaust.

RIght now I am working on a gsr block. Forged rods, je 11:3:1 compression pistons 81.5mm, eagle crank( or balanced and knife edged ls crank), I may get it sleeved not sure right now. I am also upgrading to buddy club spec IV cams and cam gears, an ITB set up, with the hondata s300. So far thats what I am planning on for my build. Not sure what kind of HP I will be pushing but once I get it all together and tuned I will post some numbers and let you know how the build turned out.

Once again thanks from Iraq
