Default P28 ECU problems

hi i have an odd proble i have a 99 civic dx with the minime swap and i have just converted to obd I the car does not idlle when cold sometimes at low rpms the timing seems to retard it self get check engine light but blanks out next time i turn the car on why could this be????!!

Are you still using the 3-wire IACV that came with the DX engine? If so, the P28 is set up to run a 2-wire IACV and this will cause idle issues and will throw a code 14.

Just something to think about...

no im using the (ex) two wire configuration for the iacv before the p28 convertion was ideling fine with the p2p ecu
