Default Are P13s and P28s "hot swappable?"

I have a P13 running in my Sol, the factory one that came with my H22A. I am looking to get my old P28 reprogrammed to emulate the P13 but without the EGR and knock sensors (and fuel cutoff). Could I just unplug one ECU and plug in the other? I'll admit that I didn't do the H22A swap myself, so I was wondering if this can be done that easily.

Yes, you can just swap a P28 to it. Although a factory P28 will make the engine run extremely lean and not run right..

All you need is a chip or basemap of the prelude's fuel & timing maps.

HTH.

FYI: "hot-swappable" would mean that you could remove said ECU while the vehicle was running without interupting the vehicles operation. No it is not hot-swappable....
