Everything is set to go, however, it turns out we have a 4ws ecu. The car idles like ****, almost like it has a HUGE cam in it. And has some missing problems.

Hooked p30 up to it and runs much better with no CEL's.

The p13 was throwing a different cel every time the key was turned on. Including the shitty #14.

Anyway could a 4ws ecu cause these problems?

Ive got the same ECU, the only codes I get are EGR and TCS. The traction control only shows up when you check for codes, not while driving. EGR only shows up at partial throttle, idle or WOT no code. Mine has 4 connections also, only 3 in use. Make sure the D plug is connected well, mine was loose at 1st and I had problems like yours. Alot of the grounds are in that plug.
