Ok, so I had the classic H22 idle surge, which turned out to be a problem with my Fast Idle Thermo Valve. I got that fixed and the car idles normal, However....I still have the IACV CEL, and I've reset the ECU multiple times and it still comes back.

I have replaced the IACV with a known good replacement, which still did not resolve the CEL situation. Does anyone has suggestions?

 

u sure u got it wired up right? maybe u got the connectors mixed up and didnt really plug up the iacv

 

I don't know what connector I could have mixed it up with. IAT? I figure if they were switched it would have thrown a code for both of them.

try to make sure u have them wired up right to the ecu... let me see if i can get u a pin out.

 

I appreciate the trouble, but this is the second H22 I've had in the car. The old engine never threw this code so I know its not the wiring to the ECU.

 

did u ever figure out what the prob was.... i have the same prob but with a b series motor.... worked fine with same wiring..... blew motor and now code 14?
