Opinions please: Obd2a or convert to obd1
Hi, i have just finished a swap in my 97 civic, it has a jdm B18C with a usdm p73 obd2 ecu. Car runs awesome, i have no real plans on doing any mods on it, i just want no check engine light, it has been 2 weeks already, and i have reseted the computer three times. I have gotten codes: 54, 45, and 92. U think converting to obd1 will get rid of these codes and runs as good as it would be with obd2, i've kinda leaned over to a chipped p28 ecu, i heard obd1 is not to picky with throwing codes, What do u guys think? Thanks

I would run a OBDI locashracing chipped ECU with their OBDI ECU adapter

It definitely will not throw those particular codes as they don't exist in OBD1 software. You will open up a better potential for tuning and performance if you choose the OBD1 route.
