one of them already worked on models
I got a 97 dx w a 99 d16y8 swap z6 5speed has a p28 obd2 to obd1 harness engine harness was switched to obd2a from obd2b i am in the process of trying to at least pass my state inspection for starters i purchased a p2pa34 ecu for emmision i was told i could plug and play it but when i donplug it ceanks but wont start do i need to get it flashed anyone???

Sounds like since you have an OBD2>1 harness adapter, you are probably missing some wires, most likely crank angle sensor.
Can't flash OBD2 ecus for b/d/h/f-series.

Also i drove the civic to autozone (w the p28 plugged in) and swapped the ecu to the obd2a unplugging the p28 and obd2 to obd1 harness the scanning tool they use wouldnt register the ecu
