P28 ECU into OBD2 car?

Default P28 ECU into OBD2 car?

if i drop a P28 into a integra gsr or a 2000 civic si with the OBD2 to OBD1 wiring harness will i get any power? or HP? i heard rumors that you vtec hits harder and you get more hp. it that ture?

no, not true. you'd be able to run no cat without throwing a cel though, and your tuning possibilities increase dramatically with an OBD I car.

my understanding is that OBD2 ECU's are very difficult or impossible to chip and tune. swaping for an OBD1 ECU with a conv. harness is what you would do to tune the car.

People run the p28 with a jumper harness on obd2 cars for the purpose of running a chipped ecu with a proper tune. If you do that, you will probably see more power...other than that it's pointless.
