Tru dat!

Hey is the oil leaking at the corner just below the Vtec solenoid? Or is it all the way around the head gasket.

Reason I ask is the cam cap behine the Vtec solenoid is known to harded over time and leak oil where it'll collect at the headgasket corner below the Vtec solenoid and run down the tranny casing. If that sounds more like your problem then you just need to replace the cam cap. No need to pull the head.

HTH,

unfortunately its leaking mainly on the side opposite from the tranny (the right side if your looking at it from the front of the car).....so its not near the distributer or vtec sol.

Get a mugen high compression head gasket!

Raises .4 - damn, that's pretty good!

Yeah and you have to mill the head and block flat to get it to work right.

OEM gasket is that thick for a reason . . .
