Oil Cooler replacement.....help

Oil Cooler replacement.....help
So my OBDI JDM B18C broke a retainer spring on the dyno and the valve detonated the piston as well as broke the block. So I got a nice JDM B-18C but an OBDII from Japan Direct in Canada. So I've noted some differences. Besides planning to use all my peripherals, I wanted to also change over the oil cooler and waterpipe from my OBDI motor....it was pretty easy to remove with the engine out..
However, the OBDII motor only has the large threaded nipple where you would screw on the oil filter. I read one description of just removing it with groove joint pliers. That will certainly kill the threads and if I cant remove it I'm screwed....
What about getting the appropriate sized nut and lock them against each other so I can turn it counterclockwise? Or I am I just being a wuzz?
Here are some pics. You can see the threaded pipe where the oil filter would go...that's the part that has to go.
Thanks for suggestions.

Nobody?
Got the nuts ordered from Fastenal. Also got a pipe removal tool that has a cam on the inside. One of my buddies suggested I drill a hole through it and use a metal bar to turn it...though that would destroy it.
Will see if the double nut works.

double nut technique worked like a charm..
I guess big pipe wrench would have worked as well.
Anyways, if anyone is interested..here's a pic.
