odometer on s2000 cluster won't show anymore
My S2000 odometer (where it shows the mileage) is blank now. It still works, like the speed and turn signal and everything, just where the numbers used to be for the odometer, it is just blank there now. Anybody have any idea. I know right before this happened, the Maintenance light was blinking quite a bit. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with this. thanks Even the trip mileage doesnt show anymore.
But when i power up my car in the beginning, the digits still all read 00000 in the first few seconds, then just goes away.

anybody? i'm worried it might be the way i wired it. because everytime i turn it off and on, the power to the unit goes on and off and there is constant power going to the cluster even when its off. Overtime, i was thinking it might have set off a safety mode in the cluster. This is in a 93 civic btw. Thanks

so you retrofitted the s2k cluster?, did you get everythign to work in the fist place?
vss from dscustoms? and the temp gauge?
So you gotten it to all work and this happend? it might be wiring? I've talked to a few people that done this. they say should use "shielded wirings" to wire up the vss because it can get interence. well if you do get it fix, please dont forget to post up

this happened to me also. so its definitely some safety mode in the cluster.. i didnt have the speedo hooked up so it was always reading 0mph.. so maybe because it doesnt see the speedo working over a while it just turns off the mileage.. weird.

Yep, i am currently in the process of hooking up the vss.
so the milage was racking up when the speedo didnt work?, My milage is the same i thought it was b/c speedo is not reading so the milage can rack up its milage.
