Hello friends !
well im going to do an ITR engine swap into my ek coupe civic 96 (d16y8 engine).
I need your advice in what will be the best OBD situation to go with??

A. I know I can stay OBDII and use the original P72 ECU of engine.
B. Im not shore but I think I can use an OBDI P30 ECU.
What will be the best way 2 go ? what modifications ill need to do in the 2 options ?

But which ECU i should be using ?? will it be good enough to the enine without any modifications ?

But which ECU OBDI should i be using (if im going to swap an B18C5/B18C ITR engine) ??

obd1 with a chiped p28 and then tune it...

You can use a simple obd2a to obd1 harness with a chipped obd1 vtec ecu mapped for your itr motor.
