Default obd2a motor, obd2b harness, obd1 ecu

I have a 99 b18b that i'm putting into a 2000 civic ex. The problem is that the motor is obd2a but the civic harness is obd2b. Will the harness work with this motor and if not what should i do? maybe get a harness out of a 96-98 civic ex?

Use your EX harness and make the neccesary adaptions:

-obd2b-a distributor adapter
-CKF connector swap
