Has one put gsr in 98 civic?????
I have installed the motor and tranny in already. Now trying to get the low down o which harness to use to go from the engine to ecu. The civic harness is a one piece harness from the engine to ecu while the gsr harness is two piece engine to shock tower then to from the shock tower to the ecu. This is my problem any help would be helpful. Every thing is obd2 not obd1

take the harness off your civic motor
take the harness off your gsr motor
put the harness from your civic on the gsr motor.
good luck.
oh when i say take off, i mean physically take off the harness. unplug everything so its just the harness.

Re: Has one put gsr in 98 civic????? (KAMiN)
That is what I thought. It is an ex but auto. I swiched it over to a five speed. The only thing is the civic harness dosn't plug up to the gsr ecu. I will problaby have to pin out the ecu connector and switch the gsr ecu connectors over to the civic harness. I have a little work to do now it looks like fun.
