Default OBD2a GSR motor on OBD2b harness and ecu

I've already searched extensively and haven't found a clear answer to my specific question, so here's my situation.

Car is a 2000 Civic Si (OBD2b), the engine is bad and I'm doing a swap rather than rebuild.
I've located a great 99 USDM GSR (OBD2a) long block. I plan to preserve my Si harness and thus all obd2b sensors. My question is, will the OBD2b harness hook right up to all the connectors on the OBD2a engine, or will I have to swap/rewire plugs, etc? I've heard the distributor plug is different, can I just use my Si distributor? I want this to be as drop in as possible and be able to run my Si ecu w/ no cels to pass inspection.

This is do to the fact I'm in MA, and they might actually be worse than CA as my ecu needs to match the chassis, and there is no refing procedure or anything to get a swap approved and designated legal. I'm staying away from builds, or JDM motors b/c the tune (timing, CR) are different enough that I'm nervous about running them and passing on my P2T ecu. Thanks,

J
