obd1 lsvtec swap in a 96 dx won't start no fuel / spark please help
please anyone with any input feel free to join in. i have done tons of research and can't find the problem.
first the basic setup.
obd1 engine/alternater/distributer/ecu(p30 with chip)/starter
obd2 00ex modified harness to fir in obd1 parts
all grounds checked a *million* times
no fuel:
-i put in a walboro fuel pump and works when a power wire is connected to it even without the ground, so the fuel pump's good.
-the wires from the main relay to the fuel pump are working (tested by powering one end and testing the other).
-the main relay originally clicked a couple times when i tried starting the car, and now doesn't. tried swapping in another relay, and it clicks when i turn ignition on power (2) and clicks again when i turn the ignition off. still no power to fuel pump. i found a way to test the main relay and will check that asap.
- any suggestion or links on how to test this or what i should expect to hear is greatly appreciated
no spark:
-the distributor cap and rotor work when tested to make sure voltage will go through.
-there is power goind to the spring in the distributor that touches the cap.
-tried swapping distributers, no luck.
-tested spark multiple ways(spark plug near ground/volt meter out of distributor/etc) still no spark.
-voltage comes out of the blk/yel and blue wire(tac) from the harness when the car's turned on.
... so i can't figure out what to test next. so please any ideas honda-tech this thing has just been sitting around cause i can't find any more info to help me out by searching!
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

you still having problems with it? i'm a little confused? your running a 00 ex civic harness in a 96? if so then that in car under dash green plug the runs with the ecu plugs is missing a little somthing, the fuel pump wire that runs to the main relay isn't in the opposing plugs pinout, there for there shouldn't be power to your fuel pump, the click your hearing in the relay is most likely from you depressing the clucth pedal, may have a fix for you though so let me know
