Alright, i have a 96 hatch that i'm puttin a b20/vtec motor into. The motor is obd2, but i'm going to be running an obd2a to obd1 conversion harness so I can run a chipped p28 ecu. Now with the harness do I have to use an obd1 dizzy? or can I use my dizzy that i have now?

 

You can use either an obd1 or obd2 distributor, the internal electronics are compatible..

Like locash said, the OBD1 and OBD2 are internally the same, only the plugs are different. I would use the OBD2 dizzy that you have now since it's plug and play.

 

alright, thanks. Just wanted to make sure I could still use the obd2 dizzy I have, it'll make it alot easier.
