obd2 dizzy into obd1 harness?
so im sourcing and educating my self as much as possible before i start doing my mini me swap on my car my plans are going full obd1 either by buying a ecu jumper harness or fixing wireing one up myself depends on how feel lol well the question is i have a obd2 dizzy lying around and i was wondering for when i do the mini me swap and obd0 to obd 1 conversion can i use this dizzy? the dizzy is for a b18b1 integra...

just use a conversion harness...i was going that route i'll we found out the distributor was bad so ended up using an OBD1...i bought the conversion harness from Rywire

the obd1 and obd2 distributor signals are the same, so you can use them interchangeably. like what was already linked, just make or buy a conversion harness.

so it doestn matter that its from a b-series? cool and yeah im gonna make my own i think im savvy enough to do it myself thanks guys for the input

it will work so long as the mounting tabs are positioned in such a way that you can still line it up and set your ignition timing correctly. if you cant mount the thing properly then no i'd say try to find another dizzy. now whether or not it will bolt up nicely or not i couldn't tell ya. wait for somebody else to chime in, i'm sure someone must know off the top of their head lol
