OBD-2 wire harness
Hey HT i was sold over ebay a used gsr wire harness which i thought up untill last nite was obd-1, problem here is that my ls/vtec is going into a obd-1 car and the harness i got was an obd-2, shame on ebay for sending me the wrong crap know after having this harness for nearly three months i never new (winter project) so my question, is there a way of using this harness or do sell it and buy another obd-1 harness

Re: OBD-2 wire harness
Im not sure how his ended up in the appearance forum, but I'll help you out anyway.
You can use the obd2 harness in your obd1 car(Im assuming its a civic?). The obd2 engine harness will plug right into your obd1 civic's main harness.
You will, however, need to change the distributor, injector, and alternator plugs to obd1 plugs(assuming all the components on your engine are obd1).
If that is too much work for you, just sell the harness and get an obd1 piece.
