non-vtec distributor on vtec engine
I was searching on how to fit a b20 dist on my b16 and found that people are just cutting off the legs to get them to fit.
My question is, would it be possible to take the guts out of a non-vtec distributor and put them inside the housing of a vtec distributor so it all bolts up?

yes it is possible to change the insides of the distributors but only OBD 1 and 2 guts will work in OBD1 and 2 casing.
OBD0 arent interchangeable with OBD1 or 2

As far as OBD-0 dizzy's goe, you can swap SOHC internals over to a B-series OBD-0 dizzy, mainly the Coil & Ignitor.
