Default New h22 ek GOD DARN AUTO TENSIONER

Hi my name is Mike and i have watched the boards for a couple years now but never got a scrn. I use to be on G2IC but i have a new car and im in need of some help.

I picked up a 98 h22 ek with bent valves for 2k a couple months ago. I got a new head with crower valve springs and ferrea valves.
Anyways before i had a chance to even finish putting my motor together someone broke into my car and stole a lot of **** out of it one of which was my 96 obd2 p13 ecu. I hate theifs!! Since my car is parked in my apt complex people keep trying to break into it! So i finished my motor and borrowed a P2P 97 ex ecu to just get the car started and drive it to my moms house and park it in a garage.
So it started up no problem. But started to instantly bog like crazy. I thought maybe it was just running lean but it started to throw code 41. (primary oxygen heater sensor). It was a 10 min drive on the higway to get from my apt to my moms house and it took over a quarter tank of gas. It would barely run. It would bog when accelerating, but when you barely touch the gas it wouldnt sputter.

So i got a new O2 sensor (bosch) wired it up. Then i started it up and it threw code 41 and 65 (primary and secondary) so i noticed i wired it up wrong and rewired it. Now it still says 41 and 65 no matter how many times I reset the ecu. I thought maybe I blew a fuse to it by wiring it wrong at first, explaining why i was throwing both codes now. I checked all my fuses. All good. Rechecked wiring. Good!
The car runs like **** and i cant figure out why its throwing code 41 and 65. Ive searched everything and read every post about it. Is there some way the P2P just cant run a h22a4 right. IDK! Please help. Any comments will help
S

h22a4 should be obd2, check your wiring first. Unless you removed your cat, that would throw both. I doubt a p2p has the proper fuel compensation for a h22, the ecu might think its running super lean... which it probably is.

OK so i just tried a chipped p72 and it does the samething. If the car sits for a long time and then i go to fire it up, it runs ok for about a min, then it starts to bog, and gets worse and worse as you drive it, the idle surges too.

Ok so i just realized that my speedo doesnt work either. So i read that if your speedo isnt working and your o2 heater sensor code is throwing, its probably your alt/vss fuse. So i checked it and it's fine. I replaced it anyways just incase. I would think if there was a short in the line somewhere, the fuse would blow right???

One more thing, So my car has been sitting all night. (take the ecu out everynight) so ecu is clear. I unplug the o2 sensor all together, leave it to hand, start the car up it drives perfect for , like 2 minutes, but once its warmed up it just starts to bog like crazy everytime i hit the gas. Funny thing is, im still only throwing code 41,65. Even though i dont have the o2 sensor hooked up at all.

well i got another 02 sensor, hardwired it to the ecu fixed the 41 and 65 codes i was getting. Then i replaced the spark plug wires and fixed the bogging (old ones were grounding out) I got all excited that it was running good. Droved it for like 10 minutes and then the auto tensioner gave out. Im guessing my new ferrea valves are all bent with only 50 miles on them. GOD DAMNIT!! i knew i shoulda done that manual swap
