Here is the deal...My boys 93 Civic is rod knocking, stock d-series motor. At the moment, it is AUTO. I know right now all of you are yelling "no, do 5spd conversion first!" Those were the plans to do 5spd conversion, ls swap, then ls-vtec but since the current motor has basically taken a **** almost and there is a awesome deal on a LS longblock in town he is wanting to go ahead and do the LS swap and keep it auto until spring. My question is...What all will be needed for the LS auto swap in the civic? I know I will need the longblock and auto ls tranny, but what else? I know most of you will disreguard this now that I you see I am asking about AUTO LS swap, but please help...He needs to get this car back on the road asap! Also, what do you guys think the price range of this entire swap will be? btw: swap will not be done by a shop...Thanks again!

Basically, you have the list. You need the LS Block and Auto Transsetup, and nothing else. The cables and linkage off the Civic for Auto will go onto the LS Auto set up. You need the AUTO B Series trans mount too.
It is NOT a fun swap, and will take some time.
