Default need some advice from some experts!!

yo can you guys help me out with this one ive done so much research and found out that i went the wrong route with this swap that i did.
ok so heres the situation we have a 00 civic dx and got a 98 b18b1 complete swap, i was told to use a 96-98 civic harness for this swap, so i got one and wired it up to the engine before swaping it in. after swaping the motor in, i ran the wire harness through the firewall and plugged the 3 plugs from the harness into the p75 ecu then i plugged the green plug in and realized the green plug wires dont match up and i also noticed theres an extra ecu plug in side the car (plug A i think)
we said forget it and tried to start the car anyways, it didnt start at first, i found out it wasnt getting fuel so i ran a wire from the batery to the fuel pump to run the pump manually and the car started but went into limp mode imediately.
recap: 00 civic (OBD2b) with a 98 b18b1 (OBD2a), using 98 civic harness and now the interior plugs dont match up, the car is in limp mode and theres no way for me to check the CEL because the guages dont work.
So my question to you guys is is there anyway i can make this work without using my original harness with a jumper harness?

That green plug doesnt go to the ecu it goes to a plug in the cabin. Your gonna have to get a conversion harness I think.
