Default In need of help with obd2a to obd1 gsr swap in 96 Civic DX hatch

Hi, I have done some looking around on honda-tech and other sites and cannot find the answers I am looking for. I have a 96 Civic DX hatch and I have a 92 obd1 GSR engine mounted in the engine bay. I am in the process of wiring it up, and I have the rywire OBD2a to OBD1 ecu jumper harness. With everything done according to what I've researched minus the wiring of vtec, the IACV rewire, and the IAT switch (which I presume will have no effect on starting up my motor), I can only get my engine to turn over, not start. Is there anywire at the ECU plug that must be switched even though I have the rywire adapter?? I looked at (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1972711) and I could not tell if they used the harness or not. If anyone can point me to a thread that will help, thanks in advance.
