NEED HELP: i Have a B16A1 in EK and want a B18C1... Can i keep eveything but the engine it's self???
can i still use the same tranny harness, and axels....... and how about my Skunk2 OBD2 to OBD1...... wut ECU??? need help.......... give me some info so i don't get screwed and i get a correct swap...... thanx....... PLEASE HELP........ I'm a little new to engine swaps.....

I dont see why you wouldnt be able to. As long as both motors are OBD 2.

I think you'd be able to do it. I know that the B18C1 for the 2K's since i have one is an OBD3. I'm not sure if that helps

I think you'd be able to do it. I know that the B18C1 for the 2K's since i have one is an OBD3. I'm not sure if that helps

Yes you can. Just swap the long block. Keep everything you have already for the b16a and just use the b18c long block.

you'll need a P72 ECU from a GSR, the P28 ECU wont operate the secondary butterflies on the intake manifold of the B18C1. or you could get a Skunk2 Intake Manifold and use the P28 ECU.

all u need is a longblock if u are going fi id get a gsr tranny or ls if not keep that si tranny

I think the B16 pistons yield slightly higher compression than the B18C1 pistons.
