'95 JDM H22A '94 Accord LX coupe...

Ok, i finished my swap a while ago. when i try to redline, it changes! sometimes im in limp mode (6500 RPM redline) and sometimes i run fine (~7400 RPM redline?) this happens randomly and it's getting quite annoying. i've checked my wires and my grounds, they are all in tact.

I'm using an auto P13 ECU BTW.

Another thing i've noticed is my fuse under the hood for the radio keeps blowing out! the 15 one. i keep replacing and it keeps blowing.

any help as to what is wrong will be greatly appreciated. if i cant solve this, im bringing my car to a shop next week

well, i just took it for a spin just now... the temperature gauge needle was half way to operating temperature so i decided to just smash on it anyways. 1st gear hit 7400 2nd gear hit 7400 and that's where i stopped smashing on it. as im at a light, i take off rather slowly... i then took 2nd gear to redline but it didnt! i stuck at 6500 so i put it in nuetral while coasting at ~35mph and rev it to 8k?!?!?!? but the thing is, it jumps at 6500 then practically FORCES it's way to 8k... something is strange...

i realized i do have an exhaust leak at the top portion of the header. where the 4 conjunct to 2. my o2 sensor is at the very bottom towards to cat. could this be my culprit?

 

no its not the o2 sensor
the o2 sensor isnt a magical sensor that fixes everything when you replace it. i wish people would stop immediatley thinking this.

when you are WOT your ECU dosent even look at the o2 readings.

it sounds ignition related, maybe coil or igniter going on the fritz.

 

hmmm, when i did the swap, i went from external coil to internal coil. i did this by connecting a yellow and a black/yellow wire together from the external coil. i think those were the colors...

oh and i did buy a brand new distributor from the distributor king... new wires, plugs

 

 

damn i have same problem and i have been searching random threads.....why dosnt anyone respond once they fix the issue?
