eg dash wiring question
just curious if anybody might know if the eg ecm uses the same wiring voltage as a 1g dsm. me and a couple friends are getting ready to start on an EG63t swap into my eg hatch. dash wiring looks to be the only major hurdle in the process of getting this car running properly. any ideas or suggestions would be awesome.

hahaha ya. 4g63t out of a 1g laser rs. using engine trans and ecm from laser. found a company to make axles and have a friend who is willing to make the mounts for cheap. bought the laser for 500 bucks so might as well, for 2 grand total in parts, its a hell of a lot more cost effective.

Im going to wonder what difference the voltages to the ECM make if you're intending to bring the DSM's ecu with it. The problem I see is more of how do the sensors relate to the Civic's Gauage Cluster.

Re: eg dash wiring question
as long as it has the input from the speed sensor into the ecm then you would think it would read correctly on the output side that goes to the cluster
