Default my mind is split between two different swaps...help me!

I'm tryin to make up my mind between swaps for my del sol. the car is a 95 SI OBD1. I have wanted to get a B16B for a long time. i had a B16A1 in my EH and i liked that motor alot. so i figure with about 15 more hp and a lsd id be happy with the B16B. But on the other side of my mind, i want to get a B18C1. With the extra weight of a del sol i figure the torque will pull it along pretty nice. id probobly do some headwork down the road but not for awhile. i dunno, i just cant make up my mind. if anybody who has some experience with any of the two motors could tell me some pros/cons of each thats be great. thanx

i said the b16b, it is fun and high strung BUT if you decide to go to the darkside, it will not be any good for boost. it depends on your ultimate goal.

Before I vote, what are the prices and/or does that matter to you?

does $ factor into this decision? What are your future plans for this motor?

B18C1 would be an all around better engine to work with if you are still undecided in staying N/A or going turbo. The B16B has less tq, and less displacement then the B18C1 and to top that off it still has very high compression. A buddy of mine blew up his B16B in 1 month after turbocharging it. Plus you may be able to score the B18C1 for cheaper.

B16B is not that much faster than a regular B16. my really close friend has one and his car did 14.8 @ 96 mph when my 99 si with the same mods did 14.7 @ 94 . IMO do the b18c1 the hp and tq pull way harder than any b16 if you compare stock vs stock or same mods vs same mods. Ive been there seen that and he says he wishes every day he got the b18 insted. Trust me do the c1.

I'd say go with the B18. The Del Sol is fairly heavy, so the extra power would get put to good use.

The B16 is good for a lighter car, if you are keeping it NA.
