Default del Sol in the 12's?

Any idea on how much power is needed to get a del Sol in the 12 second range?
Assume slicks, lsd, radius arms, overall good traction. Car is not lightened.

Built CRVTEC with large cams would get you in the low 13's, throw a lite turbo on it and you should be there

If are hitting low 13s with a crvtec then that motor is blown

"car not lightened" 5th gen hatch on street tires will run mid-high 13's, a del sol is not significantly lighter to warrant a drastically faster time. Now, add cams to the crvtec, and you can take off about a half second + or - a tenth or two. So to recap, that's still high 12s or low 13's. Turbo a properly built CRVTEC and you'll be knocking on mid-high 10's.

www.angelfire.com/tx2/brandonflynn

This is an old site I found in my favorites. It's Brandon Flynn's website. I'm not sure if he goes on this board, but his 93 Del Sol ran a 12.8@106mph boosting 10PSI with STOCK LS motor and modified SOHC GReddy turbo kit. No need for LSD, B20, LS/VTEC, blah, blah, blah. etc.
