My H22A Civic Coupe Suspension Problem (HELP!?!?)

My H22A Civic Coupe Suspension Problem (HELP!?!?)
Lately I have been hearing rapid "thuds" coming from my suspension somewhere when I give it more and more throttle in 2nd and 3rd. I didn't know if its my axles, tires, or anything else in my suspension.
I have finally figured out when when I get that noise. Everytime my car dips down from a lump/bump, or when my nose plunges down when I accelerate, the "thud"s start up again.
Is it normal for 2gen Integra axles start acting up when the car is lower with an H22A? Or are my axles messed up? I'm pretty sure its not wheel hop because I had my friends stand outside while I drive my car in second passed them; they saw no tires spinning.
Any help at all is appreciated.

you'll have to be more specific on the 'thud' and where exactly it's coming from...
sounds to me like you either have bad struts, the front lca and uca is not tight enough (maybe became loose after doing the swap), or the strut hydaulic stem is not tight on the strut tower.......
my recommendation would be to check all bolts around your suspension.

What mounts are you running? We've done two H22 swaps with HASport mounts and both make a weird rumbling noise when the suspension is compressed. I think what the problem is are the axels. My car is only doing it on the passengers side. Try switching the Integra inner joint with a Prelude inner joint on the axel on that side. I've heard that works.

i had a feeling they were the axles. for one thing, one of the cv boots is ripped and grease is just everywhere. Im using Hasport btw.
i'm using stock '90-'93 integra LS axles.
WHat axles combination should i use?
I was thinking about going to kragen/monument parts/pep boys (lifetime warrenty) and getting '92-'93 GSR axles since they are designed to hold more HP than the LS. is that an ok idea?

Check your hood. I know it sounds funny, but the '92-95 Civic's have some hood clearance problems with the H22. If it is close enough, when you floor it and you are in the meat of the power, it will flex upward enough to hit the hood. This has been a problem with several people that I know with the same swap you have.

Sure. You just have to make sure that it has a slight "buldge" in it, and there are plenty out there that do. Just don't get anything with a ricey cowl induction or something like that.

Hard to believe the H22 flexing in a Civic engine bay when the majority of H22 Civic have race mounts with BARELY any flex.
You will not need a 'custom' hood or anything for fitting the H22, ESPECIALLY with HASport mounts.
