My First Swap, Q & A's
Im currently going to be buying a 1992 Integra. As the car sites now it doesnt have an engine.
The motor I want to throw in the car is a B16A1. And there are a few questions i would like to ask and hope you guys can answer.
-What are the common problems people run into?
-Do they have a wireing digram for the wiring harness?
-Is this a straight in swap?
I was also considering the Swap of a B16A2. If you can tell me the ins and outs of that swap. People has told me it would be better to just get a B16A1, but if it isnt a hassle i would like to know about the fitting of a B16A2 into this integra.
If there is anything else i should be aware of please let me know
Thanx

Everything is there, just a blown engine? Tranny still good.
What "wob" stated was correct. Use the 92 Integra US harness, and add needed VTEC wiring. Use a PR3 OBD1, P30 or P28 ECU.
The do have B16A OBD1 with Cable transmisson swaps available, but if you have a good tranny, you can use just a B16A OBD1 (gen 2) block.
If you use a Gen 1, you will have to swap over injectors, and still need to get another dizzy.
As far as mounting the engine in - you will use the factory LS componets (axles, mounts, etc) and it is a simple swap!

Buy it. It's chock-full of juicy info. I got it last week. Also get a helms or chilton's manual, it will show you where everything is that the swap book is talking about.
