I feel like we've been through this already?

But, yes it appears to be a 97' spec Jdm B18c.

Look around on your transmission. If it's original, it will have LSD J4D stamped in black ink somewhere. That should help answer your question!

Haha yea xD. I searched and searched around the engine from my view i couldn't see anything indicating tranny number. It has LSD, when I jacked it a month ago and spun one wheel the other turned the opposite not same side but it has LSD.

It looks like it may have been cleaned at some point, so, there may not be any markings anymore. You can also look at the part # on the ecu and see if it matches the type-r.

@S2k@9K the intake looks exactly like Type-R. Isn't GSR curly intake?

Yes, it is an ITR intake manifold. A GSR won't fit on the PR3 head. I think if you check the part# on the ECU, it will match as well and will solidify it being a 97 Jdm R!

Under the gold colored plate in your last picture. The ECU part number should be on the edge... it will be 37820-PXX-XXX... the "X"s being the variable letters and numbers signifying the version.

Still mystery unsolved : maybe some information which can help...

It has apexi vtec airflow controller, VTEC is set to kick in at 5200RPM. As I got this small device it also keeps live revs and the max the engine can rev if im not mistaken is 865*RPM or 85**RPM.

I believe that my engine is Type-R as GSR I think that it's rev limiter is 8200RPM and my EG revs up to 8500+ which is way over GSR rev limit.

and was there a 1997 JDM Integra Type-R? as my engine suggests it's from 97'. I really thought that my engine was JDM but I could not find it on the internet.
