Default Motor Mount problems with a GSR SWAP INTO A 97 CIVIC EX

Here is my problem, Which someone already tried to help me with but that motor mount didnt work.
The problem i have is, my right side mounts work, of course those arent usually the problem. See my car has a fluid mount on the left side, and i was told to use a 99-00 civic si fluid mount and rear transmission mount. So i went to the honda dealership and bought them, low and behold, neither of them work, they dont even bolt up to the gsr motor. Its a b18c1 out of a 96gsr, i have the teg sitting outside of the garage. So if anyone here actually knows what mounts i NEED, not what they think i need, please let me know, i wasnt looking to get the hasmount set either. Thanks

Dude what do u mean by the fluid mount? U mean tranny/passenger mount? I'm pretty sure u would use GSR mounts, I'm not positive, so basically i'm just giving u some info and bumping for some more help. I don't know many people to put a b18c into an ek civic. U might have to end up paying somone to do modify some stock mounts, if u don't wanna go with hasport. Bump for more info.

To answer your question, its a fluid mount, its circular and has a post that comes out of the top that attaches the fender to the mount on the t/b cover.

you need from a 99-00 SI

1) timing belt cover bracket/mount
2) rear t-bracket

going with a good aftermarket mount kit is good too for longevity. go with a billet kit. you can get Avid mount kits for cheap and they work really well from personal experience.

this is what u need. out of a 00 sir u need rear mount, the mount that bolts onto ur block on the timing belt side. and then just use ur stock tranny mount and ur stock fluid mount. the engine does not sit straight because the fluid mounts are ****..but there is a mount that hasport sells that will correct that.

hope i was some help..goodluck

Yea i got it figured out, i found a webpage of a guy that did a gsr swap into a 96 civic, and he used a 99-00 si rear tranny mount and the t/m side mount from a 99-00 si. Thanks though
