a friend of mine has an EK coupe, and wants to get a motor swapped. He wants a daily driver and dependable when its time to break off fools. what do you think is the best to do, what kind of $$ should he plan on spending and what is the fastest?

i think h22 would be pretty fast, but so would a b18c. those 2 motors would also be very reliable, because they are complete motors and perfect for daily driving. i have a b18c in my eg as my daily driver and its good. ls/vtec is pretty fast, but it might not be as reliable. if money is also an issue, then maybe ls/vtec is a good route. just my .02.

ls bored to 84mm...like a cr/vtec but with good sleeves. then a si head and go for it. better than a itr
